- Brisbane Based Hey Guys, I'm Jordy!

I’m not your typical photographer; I’m here for the dust, the noise, and the real moments. I capture country stories, off-road adventures, tattooed love, and the raw beauty that lives beyond the city. Whether it’s a couple in boots by the ute, a band in a shed, or a family laughing around a fire. I’m all about emotion, grit, and connection.

I have a bit of a health update and it’s something I’ve been dreading.

A lot of you already know but if you don’t, I was in a car accident a year (September 14th) which did damage to my left hand/wrist/arm.

We have done every test we can possibly think of and today I got the news that I will be having TFCC surgery.

So as of the end of November- December I won’t be taking bookings for at least 8 months as a start.
This is due to me not being allowed to lift anything, turn my wrist or drive for that amount of time.

I hate that this is the outcome as we have been trying to avoid surgery as much as possible but it needs to be done.

If you would like to get booked in before then please let me know. I will be chucking some discounts out to anyone who does.

A lot has been happening behind the scenes lately, with plenty of growth, learning, and change.

Off Grid Photography has evolved from a one person operation into a small three person team. With that has come new ideas, fresh inspiration, and its own set of challenges.

One of the biggest shifts for me personally has been learning to step back, let go of some control, and trust my team, my family, to get the job done.

We are currently in the process of setting up a small creative space at home where we can continue to experiment and develop new techniques. This image is one of those, captured using remote live shooting directly from my phone, as I am still unable to hold my camera comfortably due to the weight.

Safe to say, this one feels like a win, and we are excited to keep building, learning, and growing from here.
