Farming comes with its share of challenges, from drought and natural disasters to market pressures and everyday stress. This practical workshop is designed to help farmers build resilience, connect with others, and learn simple tools to support wellbeing during tough times.

Led by Elizabeth McNaughton, Founder & CEO of Disastrous and co-author of Leading in Disaster Recovery, you'll explore the Doing Well Cards and create a personalised wellbeing and resilience plan that you can put into practice on the farm.

🌱👩‍🌾 One of the reasons I love what I do is having the opportunity to support and showcase the next generation of farmers, producers, and agricultural leaders.

I had so much fun capturing content for the Scenic Rim Eat Local Month Next Generation Homegrown Lunch, and I'm still blown away by the incredibly impressive Agriculture Department at Beaudesert State High School The passion, knowledge, and opportunities being created for these students are truly inspiring. 🤩

These talented young people have grown, raised, and nurtured the produce themselves, and will be working alongside Chef Shinade Harper ( Head Chef at Commercial Hotel Boonah ) to create a special paddock-to-plate dining experience as part of Scenic Rim Eat Local Month.

Seeing young people develop their skills and passion for agriculture is something worth celebrating, and I can't wait to see them shine. 🌱✨

One of the great things about growing up on a farm that diversified into agritourism, combined with my background in marketing, is being able to recognise a truly exceptional visitor experience when I see one.

And without a doubt, Clandulla Cottages is one of those places.

Over the weekend, I had the privilege of capturing some beautiful moments during their Scenic Rim Eat Local Month and I have to say....they have nailed the true experience.

The smiles on the kids' faces said it all. Watching them meet new animals, pat a chook, giggle at the pigs, explore the farm, and taste fresh produce grown right on site is exactly what agritourism is all about.

It's about connection, education, experience, and creating memories that stay with families long after they leave.

A huge congratulations to the entire team. You've created something truly remarkable in Destination Scenic Rim 👏 ✨️ ❤️
