Hello 👋 yes, I’m still around but it’s been a MINUTE since I posted! I’ve been real busy with work that photos had to take a back seat but I still have been snapping!

I’m busy editing a March wedding, a recent 10-year anniversary (cowboy themed) and all the things in between.

Will never get over this day . . . Catherine & Ben’s wedding was one for the books.

We kicked things off at the McLoughlin family home in Springvale, Wagga which was an absolutely stunning spot and the perfect backdrop for a relaxed, laughter-filled morning of getting ready.

We then made our way to the Melton family property in Mangoplah, where the ceremony took place in the middle of a paddock. It was sunny, a little windy, a little dusty but honestly, a dream. I’m a sucker for full sun photos and this light was chef’s kiss.

The shearing shed (yes, a fully restored shearing shed!) was the most beautiful reception venue. I think I’ll need to make another post to really show it off, because it deserves its moment.

There were so many laughs throughout the day that my cheeks hurt, and once The Wobbly Boot started playing, the dance floor came alive. A guest even came up to me and said, “We can see you singing every word,” and yep, guilty as charged.

What a wonderful, fun, heartfelt day. I’m so lucky I got to be the one to capture it all.

“Do you mind if we bring the dogs?”

Um, yes please! There’s a 99.9% chance I’ll take more photos of them then you 😜

Honestly, I’m such a sucker for doggos at a session, the goofy grins, the zoomies, the snuggles. Every time a client says they’re bringing their pup along, I look forward to it even more. I also feel like it relaxes the clients even more!

These legends (both two-legged and four-legged) were such a joy to capture.

If your dog’s part of your world, they’re more than welcome in front of my camera. Actually, they’re highly encouraged.🐾🐾

Photography, to me, is a bit like painting.

It all starts in-camera — getting the settings right, lining up the shot, and gently guiding whoever’s in front of my lens. That’s the foundation of it all.

Then comes the editing, where I get to bring it to life a little more. I use a lot of brush strokes to make sure everything in the photo feels just right. It takes time because I’m not just popping a filter on — I’m carefully crafting your image, so it reflects how the moment felt.

I like to keep the photo true to colour, but just that little bit richer. Warm, natural tones — and if you’ve followed me for a while, you’ll know I’m a sucker for green grass and for keeping the greens green 🌿

A little while back I donated a voucher to the Ganmain Grong Grong Matong Football & Netball Club fundraiser auction — and the lovely Logan family were the ones who picked it up!

The auction was part of the GGM Charity Ball, raising money for the Boys to the Bush Riverina programs — such a great cause and one I’m proud to support.

We teed up a time for their session over the weekend on their property just out of Ganmain, and honestly, we couldn’t have asked for better. A stunning sunset, perfect temps, and a family who made it all so easy.

One of the things I love most about these sessions is the chats in between the snaps — hearing stories, learning about the family, and just spending time together in a relaxed way. There were plenty of laughs, and I don’t think I stopped smiling the whole time.

Feeling super lucky to be part of this community! 🫶🫶

Imagine having 18mls of rain on your wedding day ⛈

Well, luckily for Liv & Eric, this happened the day before the wedding. While the dark clouds chased us most of the day, we managed to dodge the downpour 🙌 and thank goodness because the hills of Dungog put on an absolute show. Coming from the dry and dusty Riverina 🌾, it was a real treat to see that lush green grass and rolling hills.

Liv & Eric’s story started young, teenage sweethearts who both grew up in the rodeo world 🐎. After years of friendship, they made it official in 2017, and now they’ve built a beautiful life in Dungog with their gorgeous little boy, Kolton.

The day was a super relaxed day that perfectly suited the married couple full of love, laughs, and family and friends who travelled from all over ✈️ (including Canada) to celebrate. The venue was a dream, set in the hills at Dungog Weddings, a family property complete with lakes 🌊, creeks, cows 🐄, and the kind of scenery that makes your heart full ❤️.
