I wrapped up 2024 with one of the most fulfilling photography jobs of my career—stepping into a space filled with powerhouse wāhine from around the world, all doing incredible work in the conservation space. Spending a week down on Arakwal Country as the Photographer & Videographer for Nature’s Leading Women. The energy of that experience is still settling in my bones, reminding me why I do what I do. And reminding me that sometimes the best thing to do is to simply surrender and trust, and doors that you didn’t even know existed will open.
I also had the rare and beautiful experience of being in front of the camera. These captures by the incredible , whose work I’ve admired since my early days in the creative field as a makeup artist, over 14 years ago. Thank you, my friend, for seeing me.
Lately, I’ve been spending less time online and more time being present. Immersed in this wonderful work that feeds my soul, grounded in nature, and leaning into the quiet moments that matter. But I do miss the connections this space has brought into my life. If we’ve ever spoken about connecting in real life, let’s make it happen. My world feels richer when it’s filled with genuine, aligned connections 🫶🏽✨
For now, I’ll just be over here, carving out my own lane, surrounding myself with incredible people doing incredible things, and staying open to whatever magic unfolds next 💫
