What an absolute privilege last night was shoot this old wagon wheel under the milky way on a Salt Lake with Matt from Creative Ways Photography. Also, a special shout out the owners of the land too, without you, this would not be possible.

Below is a 10 shot stacked image of the sky and 6 light painted shots of the wagon wheel.

Another great trip away for Luminous Light.

What does a single bolt of lightning represent to you?

To me it represents 520 photos taken over a 16min period. A fast-moving weather front, a lot of rain and a few nervous moments.

Sometimes I wonder, is it worth it?

I went out last night to shoot the Milkyway. It was one of the clearest nights I had seen in a long time. The problem was, the Moon. WOW, the moon was so bright you almost didnt need a torch. None the less I got a really good opportunity to practice not only light painting but also how to edit these types of photos. I'm really like the outcome and I'm excited to get back to this location on a clear, moonless night. Should be amazing.
