During 2020 lockdown I gained a lot of weight (which I understand is a very subjective thing, because "a lot" varies and very individual, but it was for me). I think what made me want to train was that I wanted to improve my mental health, I suffered with a severe depression during that period and didn't feel like myself for almost that whole year. There is a lot to say about that, but we will get into that at a later stage.

I am sharing this photo from a couple of weeks ago at the gym (and the two from before) to celebrate my journey and the progress I have made. It's not a linear journey nor is it perfect, as at some point I lost a bit more weight than I wanted. The journey is one of healing and comes with a lot of lessons. I am grateful for it all.
