A little late but... here is a wedding I shot earlier in the year.
It was important to Nina and Michael that the little humans in their lives played a role in the wedding. Of course it added chaos and I loved every little bit of it. So much energy and fun to capture on this beautiful rainy day. The love in the air was thick, rich and real.

It was a beautiful candid wedding with family at the center. Austineville Estate is nestled between two mountains on the Gold Coast. It was the perfect location with the ceremony with the country backdrop and the rain only added to the wedding photos.

I have had the pleasure of knowing this couple from the very early days. Often the speeches reveal some interesting little secrets... it was a holiday we were on together
when the first 'I love you's' happened. AAaaaahhhhhhh, how sweet!

It can add a little extra stress, being a photographer where you would normally be a guest. Trying to juggle the celebration, catch-up's and a family holiday whilst working. But when it is people I love, I just can't say no. And.... this pair are super gorgeous!

This stunning pair of lovers had a very classy wedding in Woolloongabba's Lussh earlier in the year.

A backlit room always presents a challenge, I went for bright and crisp which has come out quite nicely. The location was not what I recced, but the priority was to keep the location shoot quick so Dun and Jules could get back to their guests and the street has delivered. The red door is probably my fav.

The low-key wedding was absolutely stunning and as far as I could tell, these love birds had a blast. Prep was at the Ovolo which had some great spots for photos. We headed to the registry for the ceremony and the reception was at City Winery. Lots of love, delicious food and good times, what more could you ask for?

Nat and BJ - what a beautiful wedding!
Nat is an old work friend of mine and when she asked me to photograph her wedding I was totally stoked. Nat is the sort of person that will light up a room when she enters it and I knew her wedding would have this glow. I thought I would be meeting BJ for the first time on the day but little did I know he is a family friend and we played together on family holidays as kids. I feel like I should say it's a small-world thing but part of me feels like it has a lot to do with the fact that like-minded people attract. Anyway enough about me, this Yamba wedding was such a fun filled day. There was a lot of laughter and love in the air. Here it is...
