Two people in love, one incredible day, a whole lot of joy to photograph.

I met her at mums group in a tiny town down south, one of those places where strangers slowly become your people. I photographed her son’s first birthday, then her second baby growing, her family changing shape. Then we both moved away.

When she was pregnant with her third, she didn’t book someone local. She packed up her family and drove hours to find me instead.

That’s not something I take lightly. Being chosen, not for convenience, but because someone trusts you with something this irreplaceable.

Show up for people in the small, ordinary moments. You never know what they’ll grow into.
