A photo from the archives. I've been sorting through my photos for a new book I'm working on. It's slow progress as I keep finding photos I like.

This is what happens when I go through photos, I find heaps that I want to post. This little Double-barred Finch was having a bath in a puddle and obviously loving it by the expression on its face.

Going through some older photos today while working on my new book. Geoff was giving my sheep Rosielee a haircut when we brought them here and she wasn't too happy about it.

Outback Adventures continue. After the whole drama of the road trains getting stuck on Thursday last week, Friday morning we received a phone call from a station around 80kms away; they had several of our sheep and a couple from Salisbury Downs next door. So off we went on a road trip to Uralla Downs to collect the wayward sheep. When we got to Uralla Downs we found that most of the escapees were not ours, but belonged to Salisbury Downs. One of the master escape artists, was Charlotte, who I raised from a day old. She was looking very sheepish about the whole ordeal. Once loaded the trip back home was a bit rough for the sheep. Geoff had to tie up three of them to release them in a different place. More explanations on the individual photos. Never a dull moment out here.

Another Outback Adventure for me last week as we had 5 road trains bringing in agistment cattle. 2 trucks got bogged, cattle unloaded unexpectedly, and a trip that took nearly 2 hours to bring back the dozer to pull out one of the trucks that decided it would be a good idea not to drive on the harder road where the first truck was bogged. It was an interesting and tiring day as we were up way before sunrise for the road trains to arrive.
