I've been trying to photograph this bird for 4 years. It flies past me so quickly it has been difficult to get a photo of it. These little ones are White-winged Fairy-wrens. I came across a large habitat of them while I was out on the property with archeologists.

As many of you are aware, since living out in far west NSW I've needed the RFDS to fly me out on 3 separate occasions, once for my broken back, the other 2 times for life-threatening illnesses. This year I've decided to join people in raising funds for the RFDS in their OCEANS TO OUTBACK fund-raiser. I'm looking for friends to sponsor me to walk 1 km a day during the month of October. I know 1 km doesn't sound like much, but for me walking with crutches it's huge. I would love to give back to a service that has helped me, and mny others. Thanks to the RFDS we can see a doctor, dentist, physio, and mental health support in locations where we don't need to travel 6 hours to seek professional help. I understand that the cost of living has us all counting our pennies so I'm grateful for anything you might be able to donate. Please click the link to donate.
