Howdy gang!!

This May I’m stepping up in a big way… actually, twice 😅

I’m taking on two challenges to raise awareness and funds for some incredible causes 🤯

💪 The Sit-Up Challenge:
Celebrating 75 years of Endeavour Foundation and supporting people living with disability

👣 The 10K Steps Challenge:
Raising funds for Starlight, helping bring joy, laughter and light to seriously ill kids

Every sit-up and every step is for something bigger than me.

Starlight reminds us that happiness isn’t just a feeling… it’s powerful. It helps kids facing pain, fear and uncertainty just be kids again. And Endeavour Foundation continues to create opportunities, independence and support for people with disability.

Today we ticked off a little slice of the incredible Brisbane Valley Rail Trail 👣✨

We hiked from Benarkin to Blackbutt and back… just a casual 10km round trip 👏🔥

And can we just take a moment for the kids?! They absolutely smashed it. No complaints. Just stick sword battles 🌴, spontaneous running races 🏃‍♂️, and a very serious game of “would you rather” that somehow involved surviving on pizza for life 😂

It was one of those simple, wholesome adventure days. Fresh air filling our lungs, gravel crunching under our shoes, and that quiet reminder that the best memories don’t need much more than a trail and time together 🤍

We finished up in Blackbutt with some well-earned, delicious pizzas 🍕 and ice cold drinks 🧊🥛 and let’s just say… I definitely closed my step ring today 🤣

Tomorrow Dad kicks it up about a hundred notches 😳 He’s heading off to tackle the ENTIRE 161km trail from Wulkuraka to Yarraman… which just so happens to be Queensland’s largest recreation rail trail 👣🔥

Big boots. Big goals. Big adventure ahead.

Our time in Brisbane City 🤍

Brisbane has been so much more than just a stop on the map for us.
We left Townsville a little earlier than planned as my granddad is in hospital 😢 so we came down to help look after him. Life shifted gears… but in true adventure style, we chose to meet it with love, togetherness, and gratitude.

In between hospital visits and family time, we made space for memories that will stay with us forever 😍

Bike and scooter rides through the city 🚲🛴
Swimming pools with family we hadn’t seen in far too long 💦
Teaching the boys how to play Marco Polo (and laughing way too much) 👌
Meeting new family and reconnecting old bonds 🤍

Family dinner dates 🍽
Our youngest little man getting his ears pierced 👂 so he can “run faster” 😂❤️
Mini putt-putt golf ⛳️
And of course, South Bank adventures that lit up everyone’s smiles 😀

It hasn’t been the reason we hoped to travel for… but it’s been an experience filled with love, laughter, and togetherness. Proof that even in the harder chapters, there’s still room for joy.

Thankful for family. Thankful for time. Thankful for Brisbane 🤍

✨ The last few days have been nothing short of magic ✨

From wandering through Townsville’s beautiful Billabong Sanctuary, cuddling a koala 🐨 (core memory unlocked 😍), feeding turtles 🐢, to heading off on a weekend adventure to Charters Towers for the Goldfield Ashes cricket 🏏
Our hearts (and camera rolls 😂) are FULL.

We rode buggy bikes, splashed around at the water park, laughed until our bellies hurt, and soaked up every moment of family time surrounded by the raw, breathtaking beauty of this incredible country we call home 🇦🇺

These are the moments that matter.
Love. Laughter. Adventure. Family. Nature.
And so many more memories made along the way ❤️

Forever grateful for days like these ✨

Sun-soaked swims 💦
Wobbly first rides on new bikes and scooters 🚲🛴
Shared meals, tired legs, full hearts 🍽️
Setting up camp in a brand-new place 🏕️
Basketball laughs 🏀, bubble mania 🫧 and so many moments that don’t make it to camera… but live in our hearts forever.

This is more than just travelling.
It’s choosing presence over pressure.
Memories over things. 👩‍👦‍👦👨‍👧‍👦
Time together over everything else.
We’re showing our boys the beauty of this country, the magic of simple living, and the importance of slowing down and being together. 🥰✨️

Every day is a lesson, every place a classroom, every laugh a reminder that we’re exactly where we’re meant to be 🤍
