I was going to make another video today but alas I dropped my phone into water yesterday and while the phone still works perfectly fine, the camera lens is all fogged up! eek!

Let's make some ATC's (Artist Trading Cards), I hadn't heard of these until I started Junk Journaling. They are 2.5 x 3.5 inches and generally painted however you like and then swapped with other artists. My version is more in a junk journal ephemera style to swap or use in junk journals as cards that can be personalized with little stories on the back or in any other way you would like.

Loving my One of a kind Photo Journal. I've put up 11 videos now of the making process and this video includes a few finishing touches. The journal has photos of my kids growing up. My fave photos of the two of them together. Just some journaling and titles left to go to finish it off, then I will have a wonderful memoir to cherish.

Let's have fun smooshing inks! Grab some glossy photo paper, some inks and start smooshing. So much fun. You can ink smoosh on pretty much any type of paper, photo paper will give you a glossy finish. I also used some paper from a cheap kids scrapbook, gives a paler look which is also fun. All very useful for backgrounds, cutting out shapes, die cutting and much, much more.

Been off visiting my grandie for her first birthday, so gorgeous. Here are some snippet strips I made, just scrap bits of paper glued to receipt roll paper. These can be embellished more and added to your junk journal or scrapbook page as edge decor, belly band, side pocket. So useful to have in your stash. Could even use them on a card. A great easy thing to do in front of the tv, grab your scraps and start gluing.

Gelli printing is great fun. Some simple prints turned into pockets, journal card and a tag. Make your own plate like I did or buy one, grab some paints, paper and some simple bits n pieces and get painting

I've been away for 10 days visiting family, such a lovely time. Here's a mini journal made with music pages, it doesn't have a cover as such as I will add it into one of my journals. I have added bits received from happy mail and written in some memories.
