Remember way back when, we could post one photo on Instagram and it would be enough. Those were the simple days….
Just like this simple photo. It might not mean much to most people, but means the absolute world to this mum in it. When Samara reached out to me she said “as a mum I feel like I have no photo with my son”. And I know she’s not alone in having that feeling.
It’s not just about you having the photos to look back on, it’s for them to look back on too. Imagine your kid, all grown up and they ask you why you weren’t in any of the photos with them when they were growing up.
It’s time to stop waiting for the right time, to either lose weight, or to wait for your hair appt or whatever other excuse for putting it off you have. Those things can wait, otherwise you’ll blink and your kids childhood has passed.
