RAEWYN & RAIDEN KOROWAI CEREMONY 🪶💫
Ceremony is more than an act, it’s an intention. A moment to pause, to honour, to step across a threshold with purpose. Whether it’s through karakia (prayer/incantation), the gifting of a taonga (sacred items), or simply standing in stillness to acknowledge those who walk beside us in spirit, these moments anchor us.
In moments like these, we weave together past, present, and future. The korowai is more than a cloak. It is an embodiment of honour, protection, and ancestral connection. When it is placed upon someone’s shoulders, it carries the weight of those who came before them, wrapping them in the love and the strength of generations.
Regardless of your faith, your culture, or your beliefs, there is something powerful about creating a ceremony that feels deeply yours. A moment where tradition meets intention, where your love story is woven into something greater than the present moment. Something that acknowledges where you have come from and where you are going.
Whether you choose rituals that honour ancestral ways or create something entirely new, what matters most is that it reflects you. That it holds meaning. This is what ceremony is. This is why it matters.
For some, ceremony is the weight of a korowai draped over their shoulders. For others, it is a cleansing ritual with native herbs, or the simple act of standing barefoot on the earth, grounding themselves in the place where their love is witnessed.
Whatever ceremony means to you, let this be a reminder: your story is worth honouring. The way you step in to your next chapter can be intentional, powerful, and deeply connected - and it would be my honour to help guide you toward creating a ceremony that feels truly yours 🌿✨
