Before vows were exchanged, we created space for Jack and Crystal to simply be.

A couples massage followed by a warm bath under the canopy of the forest. Infused with wild botanicals and intention.

Not just a soak, but a ritual of shedding. Of arriving. Of cleansing the energy of everything that came before, so they could step into their marriage clear, grounded, and open.

Because love deserves a sacred beginning.

And this… was theirs.

✨🌿
Elopements aren’t about following trends. They’re about carving out moments like this. Intentional, quiet, full of meaning, to honour the journey you’re on.

This is the kind of space I love to create — where the sacred and the soulful are honoured just as much as the visual. Because it’s not just about the photos. It’s about the energy you carry into your forever 🤍✨

Cleansing ritual personalised and created by me specifically for J + C with botanicals sourced by the amazing

When location scouting one morning, I noticed a couple strolling along the beach. I couldn’t help but watch them from a distance, as they wandered hand in hand just soaking in the view. Not a phone in sight, just enjoying each others company and every now and then taking moments to stop and snuggle in to each other. They would have been down there for at least an hour. I know because I had time to make my way back to the car from the lookout, drive down to the beach location, park, walk down to the beach, and noticed they were still strolling along the beach when I got there…. I never like to impose on people, but I couldn’t help but snap a few images from a distance…. As I was leaving I left a note in their shoes with my contact details and explained that I had taken a few snaps of them and to reach out if they wanted copies…. I was so happy to hear from them and they loved these couple of captures 🥹🫶🏽

There’s a stillness in these moments—the quiet before everything shifts, the weight of anticipation hanging in the air. The soft light, the silk, the deep inhale before stepping forward.

I’ll never tire of feeling the energy of a room transcend when a bride sees their full wedding look come together for the first time. The transformation from preparation to presence, from quiet solitude to the moment they walk down the aisle to promise forever. The magic felt in both the silence and the spark. I’m so honoured to witness it time and time again. 💫

Sharing in the many milestones of my couples will never not warm my heart. From “I do” to “we’re expecting”it’s such a beautiful journey to witness. Moments like these remind me why I do what I do—preserving love, growth, and the stories that unfold in between. ✨🫶🏽🌿

I wrapped up 2024 with one of the most fulfilling photography jobs of my career—stepping into a space filled with powerhouse wāhine from around the world, all doing incredible work in the conservation space. Spending a week down on Arakwal Country as the Photographer & Videographer for Nature’s Leading Women. The energy of that experience is still settling in my bones, reminding me why I do what I do. And reminding me that sometimes the best thing to do is to simply surrender and trust, and doors that you didn’t even know existed will open.

I also had the rare and beautiful experience of being in front of the camera. These captures by the incredible , whose work I’ve admired since my early days in the creative field as a makeup artist, over 14 years ago. Thank you, my friend, for seeing me.

Lately, I’ve been spending less time online and more time being present. Immersed in this wonderful work that feeds my soul, grounded in nature, and leaning into the quiet moments that matter. But I do miss the connections this space has brought into my life. If we’ve ever spoken about connecting in real life, let’s make it happen. My world feels richer when it’s filled with genuine, aligned connections 🫶🏽✨

For now, I’ll just be over here, carving out my own lane, surrounding myself with incredible people doing incredible things, and staying open to whatever magic unfolds next 💫

Something blue 🩵✨ So many beautiful, heartfelt, hand-crafted details for Bianca’s bridal outfit. From the friends who handcrafted her rings and dress, to her self-made purse, to her Nans tiara, and a bouquet made from her mother-in-law. Everything tied together so beautifully!

Bianca & Pete’s love feels like something from an old film 🎥 Timeless, effortless, and full of quiet moments that say everything.

After quickly exchanging their nuptials at the Brisbane Registry Office, we popped over to the Mt Coot-tha Botanical Gardens for a little wander to snap some portraits. And gosh I love these! We may have only spent a short while together, but these captures are proof that love doesn’t need grand stages to feel cinematic 🥹🫶🏽

Registry weddings, elopements—whatever form it takes, love is still the main character 💅🏽

RAEWYN & RAIDEN KOROWAI CEREMONY 🪶💫

Ceremony is more than an act, it’s an intention. A moment to pause, to honour, to step across a threshold with purpose. Whether it’s through karakia (prayer/incantation), the gifting of a taonga (sacred items), or simply standing in stillness to acknowledge those who walk beside us in spirit, these moments anchor us.

In moments like these, we weave together past, present, and future. The korowai is more than a cloak. It is an embodiment of honour, protection, and ancestral connection. When it is placed upon someone’s shoulders, it carries the weight of those who came before them, wrapping them in the love and the strength of generations.

Regardless of your faith, your culture, or your beliefs, there is something powerful about creating a ceremony that feels deeply yours. A moment where tradition meets intention, where your love story is woven into something greater than the present moment. Something that acknowledges where you have come from and where you are going.

Whether you choose rituals that honour ancestral ways or create something entirely new, what matters most is that it reflects you. That it holds meaning. This is what ceremony is. This is why it matters.

For some, ceremony is the weight of a korowai draped over their shoulders. For others, it is a cleansing ritual with native herbs, or the simple act of standing barefoot on the earth, grounding themselves in the place where their love is witnessed.

Whatever ceremony means to you, let this be a reminder: your story is worth honouring. The way you step in to your next chapter can be intentional, powerful, and deeply connected - and it would be my honour to help guide you toward creating a ceremony that feels truly yours 🌿✨

Shoutout to our all Māori team of Wedding Vendors ☺️🫶🏽 I love watching us be great! 💅🏽
