Congratulations to the Australian Opals who won the bronze at the FIBA Women’s Basketball World Cup 2022, with a 95-65 win over Canada.
The Opals played a total of 8 games over 10 days.

Congratulations to all the Opals players and coaching staff, and a massive shoutout to Lauren Jackson who scored 30 points in her final match for the Opals, giving her 73 points overall for the World Cup with an average of 9.1 ppg.
What an amazing week of women’s basketball, with 145,519 people attending across the 10 days of action – the largest attendance record for a Women’s Basketball World Cup in history.
