Disappointment, heartbreak, sickness, the unexpected. Life happens. But don’t lose what makes you, you.
It might take you a while to find it, and that’s ok.
But joy is coming. Keep walking. Keep loving. Keep creating. Capture the little moments in life. Find the joy in every day.

📍⛩️🌸 Auburn Cherry Blossom Festival, Sydney Australia.
I’ve been in Sydney for about 2 months now due to a family illness, but one of the unexpected blessings of this surprise trip was getting to see Cherry Blossoms for the first time with my mother! She’s always wanted to come to Japan to see the Cherry Blossoms and we were hoping to plan a trip, but with illness and this surprise trip, the future is really uncertain, so it was the most incredible blessing to do this together!
She tried mochi donuts from , saw the festival, tried Yuzu Soda, made origami with the lovely & marveled at the work of .origami .

It was the most gorgeous day, better than I could have dreamed. A special memory to cherish forever. ❤️

Takahatafudo Temple, Spring 2024 🌸⛩️

Took a trip out to West Toyko this Spring for a stamp rally & to hopefully catch some cherry blossoms, but this temple was the surprise gem of the trip.
Tucked away behind the Tama Monorail line the temple area also had a quaint local coffee shop where I picked up some hand painted watercolor postcards. A gorgeous local area!
