ভ্যাটিকানের সূত্রমতে ২১ এপ্রিল ২০২৫, সোমবার স্থানীয় সময় সকাল ৭টা ৩৫ মিনিটে মারা গিয়েছেন খ্রিস্টানদের ধর্মগুরু পোপ ফ্রান্সিস। মৃত্যুকালে তার বয়স হয়েছিল ৮৮ বছর। এক যুগেরও বেশি সময় ধরে ক্যাথোলিক চার্চের প্রধান যাজকের দায়িত্ব পালন করেছেন তিনি। পোপ ফ্রান্সিসের অবদান ও তার উত্তরাধিকার নিয়ে এসবিএস বাংলার সঙ্গে কথা বলেছেন - অ্যাসোসিয়েট প্যাস্টর অ্যালেন জোসেফ গোমেজ।

- According to Vatican sources, Pope Francis, the spiritual leader of Christians, died at 7:35 am local time on Monday, April 21, 2025. He was 88 years old at the time of his death. He served as the head of the Catholic Church for more than a decade. Associate Pastor Allen Joseph Gomes spoke to SBS Bangla about Pope Francis' contributions and his legacy.
