Best part about hour long sunset sessions: variety! When timed right, the sun will be out in the beginning of the hour and it’ll be a golden, warm colour that makes everything glow. The light gradually gets softer, until the sun sets and lights up the clouds with soft pinks. I love seeing the progression of the sunset in your galleries 😊

Celebrating the engagement of A&T with a gorgeous sunset at Shelly Beach ☀️

I really enjoy photographing people who have never been in front of a camera before. This couple was quite nervous about being too awkward in the photos, but I don’t think you could even tell they felt that way. We took our time and kept it really lighthearted, overall good vibes. I prefer to treat these sessions like we’re just hanging out together and making something beautiful :)

Celebrating the love of Ella & Ty at the Maroochy Botanical Gardens. A beautiful spring afternoon full of happy tears and sweet moments that I was so lucky to have the honour to be there for and capture memories of.

This was my first time photographing a wedding of this size and I am very thankful that this lovely couple trusted me with their special day. I can’t wait to do more photography for simple intimate weddings like this one.

A quiet evening on Shelly Beach celebrating these beautiful first time parents 🤍

It’s very easy to feel nervous or uncomfortable in front of a camera, maybe unsure what to do with yourself.
If I sense you need some help knowing how to hold yourselves for the photos, I will tell you where to stand, where to look, how to interact with the other person. Likewise, if I see that you are relaxed and have found your place in front of the camera, I will stay quiet and allow you to guide the session.

My role can be either hands-on or hands-off depending on the people I’m working with. So whether you need something more photographer-led, or more client-led, we can make the session comfortable for you.

I had the honour of capturing my friend and her now-husband’s civil wedding in March.
This was a small family celebration before their large traditional wedding overseas in Bali!

If you’re only having a small, basic ceremony, is it still worth documenting it through photography? Absolutely! While the main wedding celebrations didn’t happen on this day, it was still a meaningful moment with their closest family members.
You will only regret the photos you don’t have!
