Here’s a progress shot of my new little home! I’m really enjoying watching the cladding weather and lighten. You can see cladding on the left side a little lighter than the right because it was put up a few weeks earlier, looking forward to watching it even out and turn a beautiful silvery grey over the coming months! Watch this space ✨

There's beauty in the mundane. Why is that so easy to forget? I can't count the number of times I've washed her sheets, hung them out to dry, put them back on her bed. Soon, I'll do it again, and again, and again. Tonight when Ceci snuggles into bed with these sheets, she'll be months older than she was in this picture. But that's the beauty of imagery. This time will always stand still for me, every time I look back at these little feet and her colourful sheets.

The Williams family serving us all the happy vibes on this kinda-stormy-kinda-not Thursday! These guys honestly make my job so easy. It's been such a privilege to document their growth over the years while watching Cheryse’s business jump from strength to strength.

I first connected with Cheryse when I won some of her delicious treats in an Insta comp! When she delivered them to me on her usual delivery route 4 years ago on a Friday morning, I instantly loved this person! Warm, driven and down to earth 👌

Friends, you're gonna want to check out her delicious vegan-friendly meals and beautiful community garden. Just around the corner in Eudlo. Let’s support local 🙌🏼

Happy International Women's Day!

If you're putting your hands and minds to work professionally, you're making a difference.
If you're staying home to raise children and care for the needs of your family, you're making a difference.
If you're doing both, you're making a difference.
If you're taking time off to recharge, even if it's doing nothing for a time, you're making a difference.

It's through the sacrifices seen and unseen, achievements recognised and yet to be recognised, the rest we give ourselves when things get inevitably difficult. As a society we still have a long, long way to go, but we've come a long way too. I'm choosing to celebrate that today ❤️

We hear this a lot: "What's something you wish you knew 10, 20, 30 years ago? What advice would you give your younger self?". As a photographer, I feel like I have the superpowers to do the opposite. This image right here is what I want my future self 10, 20, 30 years from now to remember. This is what she was like at 7 years old. My girl full of life and colour ✨🌈

*READ BELOW FOR SPECIAL BUSHFIRE OFFER*

Hey all, what a horrific few weeks it’s been in Australia. Like us all, I’ve felt kind of numb and lost for words about the devastation that is happening in our country.

I feel particularly sensitive about the bushfires in the Snowy Mountains region. The Snowy Mountains was my home from when I was 6 months old til the time I finished grade 12. I lived in Jindabyne, Khancoban and Cooma, thankfully none of these towns have been directly impacted by fire, but it hasn’t been so lucky for surrounding areas. I’ve been anxiously watching the news of Corryong, Tooma, and heartbreakingly Cabramurra where I spent many days of my childhood.

It’s hard to know what to do from afar, but it seems the best thing we can do for these communities is to send funds.

Last week I announced on Instagram that im offering a free photo session to anyone that donates more than $150 to a bushfire crisis charity of their choice (salvos, RFS, CFA, WIRES etc). Offer is for sessions on the Sunshine Coast, normal travel fees apply outside this area.

In the moment I forgot to share to Facebook, so here it so now!

Your session doesn’t have to take place in January, just sometime in 2020, but if you’d like to take me up on the offer just send me an email BEFORE January 31 with a screenshot of your donation receipt. My email is [email protected]

Once the fire threat has passed I encourage you to take a road trip to check it out, stopping for supplies in the nearby towns that have been knocked to its knees this holiday season)
