3.25pm Sunday, at home - beautiful Port Willunga. The golden late afternoon light was divine! SO glad I decided to take my camera with me to the local shops and during my customary circuit of the carpark overlooking the beach, on the way back home, this vista saw me ‘sprint’ down onto the sand. OK, I lied - I don’t think I’ve sprinted since I was about 15 but I got down those steps pretty quickly. 😝

Each year, I enter just one photographic competition - a large one, run by a Rotary Club in NSW. Back in 2024, the first of these two images was awarded First Prize in the Landscape section. On Thursday, the second image was awarded Second Place in the Landscape section. It’s no secret that I adore our beautiful Port Willunga and I’m so proud to have achieved these awards. I actually have one 90cm x 60cm canvas print of each image in stock so if interested, be quick! There are also different sizes available - I can easily order those.
