DIGITAL vs FILM

I shot both at this stunning engagement party a few weeks back, and honestly, I love the look and feel of both! I love the imperfection of film, and the colours of the Portra 400 film, although I also love the softness and emotion of digital.

What about you? Do you prefer digital or film, or a mix of both?

When is the best time to book photos of your newborn bubba? The window is smaller than you think 🤍

Newborn photos are best taken in the first few weeks of life. In those early days, babies are still in that sleepy, curled up, squishy state. They tend to be easier to settle, they sleep deeply and their toes so tiny you want to bottle them forever.

So when should you book? Before baby arrives. Ideally at 32–34 weeks pregnant - that way your spot is held, and when baby makes their entrance, we just confirm the date around their arrival.

Here’s what I need from you:
🌸 Your rough due date
🌸 An idea of your preferred week

And I’ll take care of the rest!

A storm rolled in for this one just as we were about to start snapping. Not a cutesy storm either - it was freezing, there was howling wind and the kids weren’t stoked.
