Just the two of them, for a little while longer.

The precious wait before finding out who their littlest love is. Magical, completely love filled and awe inspiring.

I try not to play favourites with shoots… but… I’ve had a few sunrise/early morning maternity shoots lately and there’s just something so magical about them. The peace and excitement, the miracle of a mother to grow a whole human. VERY excited the weather is warming up so it’s not quite so freezing to do more of these ✨

Motherhood so often feels exhausting, every fibre of your being used to raise little humans. Giving them all the opportunities you possibly can, teaching them, guiding them, loving them unconditionally.

Their little worlds can’t comprehend just how much you give, for them. But you do it anyway.

Maybe one day, down the track, they’ll play this song and think of you. They’ll think back to these days, these moments and realise how lucky they were to have you as their mum. How lucky they were to be wrapped up in your arms.

Brotherly love.

The cutest home session a few weeks back. I find these ages are perfect for home sessions. They get to show me all their favourite toys, and really relax into being themselves in their safe space.

The real magic is looking back months, years from now and having these memories to hold on to. The nostalgia of their bodies wrapped around yours, cheeky baby toothed smiles, when they fit in your arms so easily.

It might feel like just another day right now, but I reakon it’ll be the good old days before you know it.
