We knew it would be cold, We dressed warmly, thennnnnn we said stuff it, froze our butts and got some creative, magic, shots!! Can’t wait to show you more from this amazing session soon. Living with ongoing health challenges means my days don’t always fit neatly into a schedule. Some days are unpredictable, some are slower, and working a traditional 9–5 hasn’t always aligned with what my body needs.
That’s a big part of why I built my own business, to create a life that works with me, not against me.

It’s also why I care so deeply about what I do. Because life doesn’t wait for perfect timing. Our bodies change, circumstances shift, and moments pass quicker than we expect.
Photos are more than just images…they’re proof you were here, living, loving, showing up… even on the hard days.

Unpopular opinion: I don’t want every client.

And if you’re one of these, I’m probably going to decline your booking…

• You’re ready to book but haven’t even looked at my work
• You say “I trust you” then send 50 inspo photos that look nothing like my style
• You ask for RAWs like that’s the product I sell
• You expect a full gallery in 24 hours… fully edited

If this made you slightly uncomfortable, that’s the point.

Not every photographer is for every client, and I’d rather be honest than overpromise.

More than a photographer, I’m a gentle witness to your first chapter of parenting, a listening ear when the emotions feel loud, a calm presence when the unknowns feel big, and a safe space for every tear, laugh, and quiet breath in between. I don’t just show up with a camera; I show up for you …to honor the way you’re becoming a mother, to hold your story with care, and to preserve the moments you’re too deep in to fully see right now. One day, when the newborn nights blur and the bump is a memory, these photos will remind you how much love you carried long before you ever carried them in your arms.

Gallery sent off, other 9-5 job done, dinner made before the kids got home, bag packed for swimming, and I was ready to feel like the most put-together human alive.

Then I got to swimming and realised I’d forgotten a towel and shower thongs. So yes, I had to ask for a spare, and yes my 3yo had to have a shower in a public bathroom with no thongs on 🥲🤢 but thankfully, tomorrows a new day, my son and I played ninjas as we tip toed across the floor (trying to avoid flat feet on public shower floor) and great help saving the day from the swim school staff! Because they just get it!
So yes, great mum award? Absolutely not.
But honestly, I am a mum, and I get the chaos. I get the juggling. I get the “how did I remember all of that but forget the one thing I actually needed?” energy.

I hated pregnancy, yup. The women who loves shooting maternity hated her own pregnancy. I didn’t have an easy pregnancy and despite how I preach EVERY body/ belly is beautiful… I’m ashamed and regretful that I only ever took one photo of my bare belly. Please take this as your sign…. You don’t have to love pregnancy, you don’t have to feel okay right now…. But what you should do…. Book the photos, because no matter how you feel right now, your future self will thank you for capturing these moments and your changing body, your beautiful belly. Regardless of how you currently feel.

I’ll go first.
Because I know how vulnerable it can feel to be in front of a camera… especially when you’re already overthinking the little things.
Your skin.
Your body.
The parts of you that have changed.
The things you wish were different.
I get it more than you think.
I’m not standing behind the camera picking you apart. I’m not noticing every “imperfection.” I’m not keeping a mental checklist of things to fix.
I’m just seeing you.
The way you hold your baby.
The way you laugh mid-sentence.
The quiet, in-between moments you don’t even realise are beautiful.
That’s what matters to me.
This space has never been about perfection…it’s about connection, honesty, and capturing you as you are, right now.
You don’t need to change anything before stepping in front of my camera.
