I’m usually behind the camera, so it’s rare to see me in front of one.

Hi, I’m Mel.

I’m a mother, wife, photographer, professional cleaner, student, babywearing educator in training, reptile keeper, and coffee snob.

I recently completed my diploma of photography, and I’m currently studying UX and web design while raising my almost two-year-old son, who is my entire world.

Parenthood is beautiful, exhausting, emotional, and fleeting. I’m here to document these seasons of life honestly, so you can look back and remember them exactly as they felt.

My editing philosophy is simple: less is more. I focus on true-to-life tones and timeless colour, preserving the details that mattered in the moment - including the sky.

My portfolio is growing quickly, and I’m currently planning on some creative collaborative projects that I’m very excited to get into soon.
