Did you know Bilyarndi Studio is less than 1 years old? Well we had a massive NAIDOC week for our first year of business and we’re still buzzing from the National NAIDOC forum! πŸ”₯ incredible Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander speakers, cultural immersions throughout the day and stocked up from our fav Aboriginal businesses at their stalls. Huge shoutout to the amazing .jean.photography ._and._frame Wiimali and / who we got to shoot alongside. Finally a big thanks to our host Christine Ross Consultancy who is always putting on inspiring community events like this. We are big fans of yours and there is so much work behind the scenes that you do to give us these great opportunities to connect πŸ–€

By chance, was able to recreate this photo at the Aboriginal tent embassy outside old Parliament House with brother Ben Co, a descendent of one of the original protestors who camped and set up the first Aboriginal embassy with 4 men in 1972 - Michael Anderson, Billy Craigie, Bertie Williams and Tony Coorey. The embassy still stands today as the longest running protest in our history and represents the continued fight for land rights. Thank you πŸ™πŸ½
