One thing I’ve learnt as a photographer is there’s never a “perfect” time for the photos.
And if past pregnancies have taught me anything, it’s that by the third trimester, being in front of the camera is usually the last thing I feel like doing. Between the exhaustion, the emotions, the sore back and the chaos of motherhood… it’s easy to keep putting it off.
But yesterday arvo against every bone in my body, I packed the kids up, headed to the beach, and had a dear friend take these photos for me while I showed her the ropes behind my camera so I could edit them into memories of my own 🤎
There were tears, sand everywhere, chaos, kids taking their pants off, and honestly it felt harder than any shoots I do for work by far 😂 But we got there in the end.
Especially knowing this will be my last baby, I’m so grateful I pushed myself to do it. I mean seeing my oldest boy embrace his little bro in mums belly is so special 🥹🥰✨
