📍Finke Gorge National Park, Northern Territory

Camping at Finke Gorge National Park feels like stepping into one of the oldest landscapes on Earth, with the ancient Finke River winding through towering red cliffs. One minute you’re in harsh desert, the next you’re surrounded by rare palms in Palm Valley, it’s a place that doesn’t quite make sense but that’s what makes it so good.

Four mates. Four grand. One 1991 Suzuki Vitara.

We bought a cheap little two-door Vitara with one rule, fix it up just enough so it survives. Then we’re taking it on a four day off road bush bash along the southwest coast of Western Australia.

No fancy build, no big budget, just mates, tools, and a lot of questionable decisions.

Follow along as we try to turn this old Vitara into something that might actually survive the trip.
