Buildings around you when you are going somewhere and you get lost. Which is all the time! Then while I’m taking it the yellow tram goes past.
Across the road is a really ugly building! My kids who are adults now and I used to play and still do the what decade or what style of building game when we drive around.

My favourite place in Rome. Bernini’s elephant carrying the weight of the world on the it’s back. The obelisk on the back is from the ancient Isis temple under the Minerva temple which now has the Santa Maria church seen in the background built on top.
It’s in a piazza behind the Pantheon.

My grandmother Mums mother was the kindest adult I knew growing up. She had a lot of influence on me as did my artist uncle Mal when I stayed with them. Undivided attention unlike at home being the eldest of 4 born in 5 years. There was constant noise and physical sibling fights so I retreated into the escapism of books and reading in the quietest place I could find.
Grandma was a Pisces like me and she’d share with me our horoscope for the day. It was meaningful to her as her identity.
Her eldest daughter Mum like my daughter is a Gemini. I guess that explains the fish obsession eg being drawn to them because of that early influence.

I upgraded to an iPhone 11 recently so my old and dying iphone 5 I used with a Gizmon retro Leica case was retired. I had all these pretend lenses from it and a much used fish eye lense so this is collage on a black canvas
