At about 1:30 last night I noticed an unusual shadow on the dunny door and looked out. I thought we were having another blood moon. It was the moon alright, but it had just risen, and after the wind yesterday the dust in the air sent it red until it rose enough to clear the horizon. In the dark, I grabbed the camera which I had set to photograph birds, leaned against the verandah post and shot this off. The bird is that cheeky Red Wattlebird again, from a couple of days ago.
