These photos needed a place on my grid 🥹 Two years ago when I took these images, they were still little girls. Now, I see the shift, the first glimpses of the young women they’re becoming. Time is moving fast.

Looking through these images, I’m reminded of just how precious childhood is. Their carefree laughter, the way they moved through the world without a second thought. These moments felt ordinary at the time, but now I see them for what they truly are, pieces of their childhood I’ll never get back, and as we are fast approaching teenage years I know these are going to hold so much value in my heart for years to come.

If there’s one thing I know for sure, it’s this. Take the photos.

“Starting 2025 with a splash of beauty and light”

This stunning maternity session is a throwback to a shoot I never got around to sharing until now. We contemplated doing a sunset shoot but decided on full sun in home session which was the right choice for this beauty, if you swipe on you’ll see where we started on this shoot and I couldn’t choose which to post first but I think that last photo will make my feed shortly too. The way the sun danced across the water and reflected around her created pure magic makes me want to do more pool sessions before summer is out!

✨my babies aren’t babies anymore ✨ As a photographer, I know how precious it is to capture every stage of my children’s lives. But let me be honest, actually making it happen can be a challenge! These days, they’re more likely to roll their eyes at my “planned photoshoots.”

That’s why I’m so glad I grabbed my camera on this impromptu afternoon. They were just riding bikes, running around, and being themselves and I couldn’t resist documenting it. No posing, no planning just pure fun and freedom.

It’s a reminder that some of the best moments happen when we let go of the “perfect shot” and embrace the beautiful chaos of real life. This little series also let me play with a different side of my creativity, and I’m obsessed with how it turned out! Let me know your thoughts 🥹🫶🏻

These photos will forever remind me of who they are right now and if I’m honest I’m scared to let this stage go.

As a newborn photographer, I have the joy of capturing those precious, fleeting moments that make time stand still. The gentle rise and fall of their breathing, the little expressions that pass so quickly, they are wonders to hold and moments too precious to let slip away.

The first days and weeks can feel like a blur, filled with sleepless nights, overwhelming feelings that can sometimes feel harder than you wanted but there’s always boundless love. I am a photographer and I will tell you to take the photos because of all the obvious reasons but these are not just photos, they are images that will hold so much more weight than just a photo and only the short of time will show us that weight 💫
