We spent a little time poking around Cooma. Plenty of big-rig parking options, all the usual shops for restocking supplies, and a few interesting sights to check out along the way.
The op shops, however, nearly gave me heart failure... $30 for a pair of jeans?! ๐ณ๐
Needless to say, that shopping trip was short-lived.
So we headed to our second favourite destination instead โ the playground. Unfortunately, there was one small problem...
There were actual children there. ๐คฃ
With the slides off-limits, we settled for some sightseeing instead. The Avenue of Flags was far more impressive than I remembered, helped by a decent breeze showing them off in all their glory. The mosaic artwork beneath them was fantastic too.
We also took a quick detour to the lookout and stopped in to see the tiny Banjo Paterson tribute statue.
A fun little stopover with plenty to see if you're passing through ๐๐
