Lately, I’ve been asking myself the bigger questions as a wedding photographer.
What is my style? What do I value most? What do I want couples to feel when they look back through their gallery?
And I keep coming back to three things.
Beautiful, frame worthy portraits of the two of you. The kind my dad lovingly calls the “signature shots” (despite him being nowhere near social media to see my work because, frankly, society isn’t ready for that.)
The considered details you’ve poured your hearts into. The florals, the styling, the little touches that make the day feel unmistakably yours.
And my favourite of all: the genuine love and connection between you and the people there to celebrate with you.
Those ‘blink and you miss it’ moments. The quiet hand squeeze. The proud parent watching on. The laughter that isn’t posed. The feeling of it all. Ahhh yes, that’s what makes every wedding unique and different.
That’s what I’m always looking for. Here are some of S & T’s wedding moments that give me the feels.
