Can't beat these old dudes, for a hell of a rocking show! And thanks to my mum for taking me to my first show in back in 1996. Mum and I have seen these guys at least 3 times since then. I feel sorry for anyone who has not seen AC/DC live. You suck!

I've been wanting to kayak the Serpentine Creek since first visiting Boort a few years back. Due to its Aboriginal history. With Boort and surrounding areas being some of the last remote places to be colonized in Australia. Burke and Wills travelled through this area as well as Major Mitchell, on the first explorations of Victoria. This area has one of the highest amount of Scar Tree's in Australia. These are taken along the Serpentine creek in Victoria. Scar Tree's are remains of old times. They bare the marks of people trying to survive on what they had around them. These tree's were used for anything from finding food, carving canoe's, shields, and for drying skins. They were also marked for places of importance, Food, water, Territory and ceremonial grounds. Some of the tree's have been grafted together to create rings. Would would have taken place over many years. You can see the rings and scars in the photos. I hope you find them as fascinating as I do

So. Roughly 2 years ago, I lost control of this page and my personal page due to someone, somehow changing my profile pic to a celebrity. Which breaches the Meta rules. This disheartened me a fair bit, towards all the hard work I had put in to creating this page and the followers it had grown. I pretty much stopped taking photos and lost interest in the hobby I so dearly loved. It really helped me get through a rough time in my life, and I felt so thankful to all the great people I had met along the way. I have since taken on a new roll at work which requires a lot more time and thought. I don't have as much energy for photography. But I have a new camera and new Go-pro. So I'm still into it. I would love to get some interactions happening on this page again. So if you still follow, please hit the like button or leave a comment!

Dainty Swallowtail caterpillars have been busy eating my finger lime plants. I gently removed this one for some photos, then placed it back on the plant. And within a few days it had turned into a chrysalis, hanging camouflaged like a branch until it emerges as a butterfly.
