Planning a family photo session can actually be… fun.

Here are 3 ways to keep things relaxed:
1️⃣ Choose your happy place: Your favourite beach, a much‑loved park, or home. When everyone feels comfortable, the real smiles appear. Not sure? We'll give suggestions and help you choose!

2️⃣ Work with your rhythms: We plan around energy levels, nap times and soft light so no one is pushed beyond their limit, especially little ones and grandparents.

3️⃣ Make it playful: Think cuddles, games, tickle attacks and movement instead of ‘stand here and smile’. We will guide you so it never feels awkward.

She’d been with me since I was seventeen.

Through illness. Through every country I lived in. Through every version of my life I’ve ever had.

When we lost her last June, my husband and I had a twelve hour drive ahead of us.

We spent the whole time scrolling through photos. Laughing. Crying. Holding on.
Those photos got us home.

I’ve been a dog photographer for fifteen years because of her. And this June, I’m doing something in her memory.
