While I was doing my yoga in the garden, this beautiful butterfly came and sat on a patch of stinging nettles beside me.

I loved all the beautiful patterns on its wings, but what I found really special was that it didn't get scared. It just sat there while I continued doing my yoga. It looked like it was wanting to rest, just like I was.

I felt really privileged that the butterfly felt safe enough to sit and rest next to me while I was doing my yoga movements.

Moments like this remind me that sometimes slowing down allows us to notice nature's small gifts.

This journal features one of my favourite photographs, captured at Kings Billabong in Mildura, Australia. It was one of those unexpected moments that reminds me why I love photography. As the sun rose, it suddenly broke through the clouds, sending beautiful rays of light across the billabong. I wasn't expecting the sky to light up with such incredible colours, and watching them reflect across the water felt truly magical.

Kings Billabong is one of my favourite places because it's so peaceful. It's home to so many different bird species, and I love watching them go about their day as though no one is there. They seem so relaxed in their natural habitat, and for me, that's what makes this place so special. I get to see wildlife just being wildlife.

The best part is that a portion of every sale from this journal will be donated to the Wetland Revival Trust, supporting their incredible work doing landscape-scale ecological restoration across the southern Murray–Darling Basin and providing high-quality habitat for Indigenous native species.

My photos are now available on journals!

I'm really excited to share that my Nature Nurture Photography photographs are now available on spiral-bound journals in my Etsy shop! 😊

I think you'll love these journals if you enjoy spending time in nature and love journaling, writing, sketching, or simply putting your thoughts on paper. They also make a lovely gift for someone who loves nature, photography, or stationery.

This journal features one of my favourite sunset photographs, captured at beautiful Lake Ranfurly in Mildura, Australia. I love this place because, even though it's basically a salt lake, it's full of life. Birds migrate here from all over the world, and I never get tired of seeing the saltbush and other native plants that somehow thrive in such a harsh environment. It reminds me how incredibly resilient nature is and how it always seems to find a way to support wildlife.

The best part is that a portion of every sale will be donated to Mallee Conservation. Their reserve was recently impacted by bushfire, and they'll be spending years restoring the landscape and helping the native plants and wildlife recover.
