So, I decided (randomly) a while back to do a monthly appreciation post, of some of the amazing musicians, and people, I have the privilege to meet, and take pics of, on my photographic journey.

I’ll catch up on the last two, bass players and drummers, but this month I’m celebrating the incredible women and non-binary lead singers who I’ve seen own the room recently 🔥🔥🔥

Applications for Music Works 2026 are now open.

If you are a Victorian artist, music worker, organisation or business, you can apply through two funding streams:

✔️ Activation grants of $5,000
✔️ Project grants between $10,000–$40,000

Funding can support activities including songwriting, recording, marketing, touring, professional development and more.

Applications close at 2pm on Wednesday 5 August 2026.
