Now that the dust has settled on my season with Power House Rugby Union Club, I’ve had a bit of time to look back on what turned into a pretty special year.

What started as an opportunity to get down and shoot a few games turned into a season I genuinely loved being part of - covering four men’s sides and the women’s team, getting to know the people around the club, and being there for a pretty special finish.

A huge thank you to Power House RUFC and Power House Womens RUFC for having me around and making me feel so welcome throughout the season.

A special thanks as well to Ali at Ali, who was behind so much of the club’s social content throughout the year and gave me plenty of opportunities to be involved, and to Gui at Gui Sansana | Photography 📸, who I spent plenty of time alongside shooting photos and video.

We spent a fair bit of the season sniping each other for BTS shots too, with most of the ones of me in this carousel coming from Gui.

Finishing the season with the three of us and the shield was a pretty bloody good way to close it out.

VFL Semi Final — Werribee v Port Melbourne.

A brilliant day at Avalon Airport Oval photographing finals footy, even if it wasn’t the result Werribee were hoping for.

Huge thanks to Belinda Vitacca Sport Photographer for inviting me down and having me along for the day. Really appreciated the opportunity.
