What do you still want to do this year that would make you proud?

Of course it doesn’t have to be just this year. The new year can feel a bit arbitrary, but I think it’s still a good point to reflect and check in, just because we naturally do. That doesn’t mean you can’t do it any other time of year as well :)

For me, in terms of business, I want to get my newsletter started and out there.
In personal life, I just started skating a couple of months ago and would love to drop in the bowl from the coping.

I’ve started a new thing yesterday, a Daily Design Practice, which is basically a warm-up for the day and creative practice that I do just for myself.

One of the things I’ve been thinking about is getting in motion, getting started, creating a new habit, getting out of rest. So I chose Newton’s first law for my first day of the Daily Design Practice, as a reminder to stay in motion.

I’m still thinking about what external force helped me get started, but probably a commitment I made to myself, music, and just taking the first step and opening Illustrator.

I really feel like it’s true: once you’re in motion, it’s so much easier to stay in motion, to gain momentum and keep going.

What are you wanting to get in motion with? Where are you stuck, and what external force could help you get moving?

Low-Stress Website Design for Health Coaches:
An interactive workshop with me :)

5 pm - 6:30 pm PT / 8 pm - 9:30 pm ET

As coaches, we may have extensive expertise and training in our trade; yet, the need for website design and branding may be way out of our wheelhouse. This interactive workshop has been designed to be the first step toward helping you to w**d through the overwhelm and quiet the anxiety that can accompany this aspect of creating a coaching practice or starting your career.

Our hope is that you will walk away from this workshop with practical insights and tangible steps toward visualizing your website. During our 90 minutes together, I will cover:

- Branding - what is it and why does it matter
- Websites - where to start and what to include
- How to make them both work for you 

This experience will incorporate collaborative exercises as well as breakout groups. While the recording and presentation slides will be made available via email to all participants, attendance is strongly recommended to gain the full benefit of this learning experience.

Whether you are certified by the ICF and/or the NBHWC or seeking certification, we invite you to join and bring joy, humor and artistry to your coaching.

I was going through the photos on my phone this morning trying to find a picture of my blood pressure measurements in January (I was learning about high blood pressure and wanted to remember my own numbers). That’s when I came across this photo (and many more) from my winter holiday back home in Germany. I’ve been missing the countryside, nature and my family a bit lately, so I set it as my phone background image. 😍 It might not fit the feed perfectly, but we all know that’s not the most important thing anymore 😄 So my mind this morning is filled with hypertension information, good memories, and Instagram 😀 What’s on your mind at the moment?

How are you doing? Especially during this time?

For some of us, this is one of the most challenging times. It can be hard to stay healthy and well. But it is also the best (and most obvious) time to put our health first, and look after ourselves and our bodies.

Looking to get back into posting more regularly and being consistent with it... so here’s something to get me started.
I have absolutely no trouble sticking with a workout routine or a certain way of eating, or even a regular meditation practise. Instagram though... hmm... not so much 😂

The best Swedish Cinnamon buns!!! Just had a chat with a friend about Sweden and Norway travels this morning, and sent her my posts on Newfound mag for some inspiration and ideas (link in bio). That got my all excited to go back myself sometime, but even more so: to make cinnamon rolls! These ones in Copenhagen were some of the best ones I’ve had! 😍
