How we build the HOOK in the first 3 seconds 🎬

When we create promotional videos, we don’t start with the full story.

We start with ONE interesting action.

Process:

- Review footage and find the most engaging movement
- Build a micro-story in seconds
- Create a loop or reverse effect
- Amplify with sound + light effects
- Sync everything to the music

In this case, we used the clipboard “action close” to create a cinematic opening that stops the scroll.

This is the part most people skip, but it’s what makes the difference between:

- just a video
- and a scroll-stopping hook

I didn’t start with branding, I started with stories.

Back at university, I was creating short thriller, suspense, even fantasy films 🎞️, experimenting with mood, tension, and emotion, media and cinematography classes were my favorite. And I didn’t fully realize it then, but I was already falling in love with storytelling.

Years later, after moving to Australia 🇦🇺 and having the opportunity to work closely with different brands, everything clicked. I began to see how powerful storytelling can be, not just to look good, but to make people feel something and connect.

Today, my work combines filmmaking and brand strategy. Because I believe the strongest visuals are not only the most beautiful, they tell a story. 🎬🫀
