Tonight’s question for you all - why are home office printers such a*$ #”holes?! Or is it just me? They randomly just decide to stop working, usually when I have something important to print or scan. Anyway, back to some birds…. The Royal Spoonbill at Braeside Park a few months ago! Such quirky looking characters.

Another mixed set from Eden and Merimbula with a mix of tail throws, breaching and tail slaps. Time to finish off my whale photos and get through some editing from another location… but where do I start? 😂

The first Whale Watching cruise of our Whale Watching adventure began last Saturday out of Bermagui with Coastal Adventures. It's been a couple of years since I first did this and I've been dying to get back out there and do it again. It was certainly a morning of lunges!!

Sometime it astounds me the amount of humans on this planet that have no logic or empathy! I’m not a huge fan of macaques as they are scary, naughty and can be very aggressive, but I can be entertained by their antics from a safe distance. As the last of us tourists left the Orangutan Sanctuary in Sepilok, we faced this pig tailed macaque mother and child coming towards us on the boardwalk. There is only one way out so we had to pass her, but what an opportunity to see a mother and child quite close. We stopped at a safe distance and quickly grabbed a few photos with the intent to quickly leave her be and pass by. But of course there were some idiots amongst us that thought it would be okay to get right up in her space and stop to take close up selfies with her! Remember I have my large lens on so am actually quite a distance away… seriously who gets so close to wild animals, especially a mother with its young offspring. Natural instinct is to protect your child! The guy was lucky she didn’t launch at him and bite. Meanwhile I rushed past while mouthing off about morons…

The Boss showing us who runs this river… he totally owned the place. His presence commanded respect and awe and maybe a touch of fear. You know it’s a cool and not so common sight when all the local boat guides whip out their phones to get footage along with us tourists! This was definitely one of the most memorable few minutes from my recent Borneo trip.
