A few behind the scenes moments from a recent interview we filmed for The Maze: Past, Present and Legacy exhibition.

Really enjoyed working on this one. It was great to sit down and hear the story behind the project and help document the legacy of a community artwork that continues to have an impact more than 30 years later.

May Recap 📸

• Put my public liability insurance to the test getting clients to jump around in front of the camera on a My Mortgage Freedom shoot.

• Filmed Lantrak’s 1 million tonne milestone for the North East Link tunnels. Big achievement, questionable shirt collars.

• Andy and Callum delivering the goods at the Drum Theatre, capturing a fresh library of hero imagery for the City of Greater Dandenong.

A good mix of people, projects and problem solving this month. On to June. 🎥📸

If the client can’t get to the studio, we bring the studio to them.

For this shoot with My Mortgage Freedom we setup a full backdrop + lighting setup directly in the carpark to capture:
• Team portraits
• Website & socials content
• Brand campaign imagery
• New tech/product rollout photos

Really fun one combining polished studio style lighting with a more urban startup feel.

Campaign photography for for their new website.

A lot of website updates don’t struggle with copy or structure. It’s usually the visuals that haven’t kept pace. The organisation has evolved, but the imagery is still stuck in an earlier version of the story.

For this shoot, the focus was keeping things honest.
Real people.
Real learning environments.
Everyday moments that show what AMES actually does, rather than trying to manufacture something more polished than it needs to be.

Big credit to the AMES team for being clear on what they wanted and trusting a simple, natural approach.

NYC PHOTO DUMP 🎥🗽

If you told me years ago that my small creative business would one day take me across the world for a work conference, and that I’d be able to bring my wife along, I wouldn’t have believed you.

As creative business owners we’re great at doubting ourselves, assuming certain goals are out of reach. But leaning into the passion and staying consistent has pushed me further than I ever expected. It’s funny how that works.

Trip highlights:
• Travelling with my wife / family and making new memories
• Two-day conference planning the big moves for 2026
• The food
• My ongoing obsession with Central Park
• Saw the Knicks win at MSG
• Shot two projects with local NYC creatives: .by and

Feeling grateful, inspired and ready for what’s next.
