Here's the next short video in the changing careers series I produced for Monash University. Nice work, Allisa. She says, "Life is too short to feel stuck, particularly in your career. Be brave and make a change."
I myself have changed careers a few times. I started off as a research scientist at CSIRO, then became a research cartographer (fancy name for a dude who updates topographical maps). I moved to Melbourne to do a Master's degree, then fell in love with photography and focused on documenting climate change in the South Pacific, Australia, and Asia, and stories about refugees and asylum seekers settling in Australia. Latest manifestation, commercial video production, and storytelling around the benefits of cold water swimming.
