This Red-necked Stint was amongst a small flock feeding on the beach. It was the only one with this lovely rust-coloured breeding plumage. The rest were plain white, grey and black.

The leg flag had been reported to BirdMark for tracking purposes.

🇦🇺 Strong-billed Honeyeater. This species was top of my list to see, so I was ecstatic when a few dropped down from the trees briefly and I could get a few eye-level shots. The Inala Conservation Reserve delivered yet again!
