I’d like to start something special with everyone on my friends list this year. COVID-19 has brought us a really tough year of uncertainty, being locked away from our friends and family, financial burdens etc., which has hit us all differently. I’d love to add some joy back into peoples lives this Christmas by sending whoever wants to be involved a personalised Christmas card from myself.
It doesn’t matter who you are, how well we do/don’t know each other or where you’re located, anyone can get involved. I won’t be putting a limit on how many I send so even if you know someone who doesn’t know me, but would love a bit of Christmas spirit this year, inbox me on their behalf.

Sometimes I’ll spend hours upon hours on an illustration making sure I get every single little detail correct. Constantly comparing it to the original subject. Making everything exactly the same. Forgetting that it’s an illustration and kind of taking the fun out of it. Tonight I gave myself 45 minutes to recreate this photo of into my own style without criticising myself every second of the way and I don’t think it came out too badly, and I actually enjoyed it again. So here it is. A quick illustration of a wonderful human. I hope you enjoy 🦋
