Another personal one for the professional page. I could go back in the archives but why not share where I am currently at in life.
We are officially settled in Margaret River for the next few months in our long term accommodation and I’m ready to start creating for others again!
It’s been soul filling to not have access to great internet (or phone service) and to be able to document my own kiddos on this across the world adventure.
I feel like a weight has been released off of me. I’ve escaped the hustle and bustle, I have no one asking me for things (except for the demands of my own children Iykyk) , no plans, no timelines, no rushing to get paces it’s been freeing.
Anyways, all that to say I feel refreshed and no longer burnt out and I’m going to ride this wave as long as I can.

Hello, from the future (for those that don’t know we are in Aus). I have been very MIA on here but I promise I’m still here! We have been having a blast on our family adventure. I have enjoyed slowing down, not feeling the rush of life and memory making with the kiddos. Our campervan lag is over and we are now settling down in Margaret River, Australia. Next week we move into our long term accommodation and I’m looking forward to faster internet 😝.
Excited to meet some people here I’ve been on the hunt for a fun family to take some photos of to get back into sessions. If you know of anyone in let me know!

I’ve had the chance to photograph so many beautiful baby bumps this past month and I’m not mad about it.
I may be bias but these images look like they are straight out of an editorial magazine 😏

The countdown is on until we leave the country. Holy smokes!!!! I’m starting to send out the studio mini session galleries today so keep your eye on your inbox the next few days. Wish me luck…two sick kids at home, tons of packing and editing 🤪

You can ask the amount of times I gasped/stopped breathing from this pure, overwhelming, creative cup filling, breathtaking session should be not humanely possible.
Last night I was realizing that my family and I leave in ONE WEEK and wondering why on earth I took on sessions today and THIS. IS. WHY. Creatives have got to create 🫶

With the snow arriving in the valley it’s definitely feeling more like winter out there. I’m not the biggest fan of the cold but I will admit there is something quite beautiful about those snowy outdoor sessions. Luckily has options for both indoor and outdoor and we took full advantage of that for these two.
Are you team indoor sessions or are you willing to brave the elements and be a part of team outdoor?!

Remember that time I transformed my kitchen into a clean studio space and when I shared it on my stories my own mom didn’t recognize it 😂.
Studio minis are happening Saturday, December 16 AND…. Sunday, December 17
Come hang out with me, get some photos memories taken, and have fun before I head to Australia.
These will 100% be the last sessions with me until the Spring UNLESS you live in the Margaret River Region!

We have been so spoiled this fall with blue sky days! Hard to believe we are more than halfway through NOVEMBER. Speaking of November did y’all know it’s almost Black Friday (or do you live under a rock?!) I know you’ve been bombarded with emails & targeted ads for deals but should I add one more to the mix?!

Art you’ll want to hang on your walls.
This family, this location (hard to believe that this is all ONE location) made for a beautiful session today.
If you had told me a year ago that I would LOVE and feel so confident shooting in full sun I would have stared at you in disbelief. Maybe I will feel the same way about making reels next year 🤪. I seriously spent an hour trying to make this post… first it was a few photos, then I attempted a reel but couldn’t choose music I liked that would showcase the photos and then back it went to a regular post but add music to give it some spice. So all that to say show it some love hit that heart.
