LAST WEEKEND TO VIEW
‘Shifting Impressions’, my solo exhibition - is only open for another two days, this Saturday and Sunday. And if you haven’t already, this is your chance to pop in and see it in person.
The response from visitors has been overwhelmingly positive. “This is Christine’s best work yet - it captures Australia’s bush and landscapes with such depth and beauty - the artwork really looks like paintings with such texture and beautiful colours. I have been to many of the places featured in Christine’s art and felt like I was right back there again”, said one visitor.
An invitation to step into an art exhibition of evocative Australian landscapes seen through a different lens. These works are inspired by Impressionism, influenced by nature and crafted from memory. In this series I layer light, colour and delicate textures to create painterly compositions of an altered, imagined landscape–dissolving realism into atmospheric dreamscapes. ’Shifting Impressions’ is a call to connect with the raw beauty of the land and awaken your own imagination.
