⚔️ Mackay PopCon 2026 ⚔️

What a fantastic day we had at Mack PopCon! It was wonderful to see so many people stopping by our Viking village to explore medieval life, ask questions, and learn more about what the Mercenaries of Western Europe do.

Our battle displays drew a great crowd throughout the day, with plenty of excitement as steel clashed and our warriors demonstrated medieval combat. It was great to see so many smiling faces enjoying the action and cheering us on.

A big thank you to everyone who visited our camp, chatted with our members, and supported us throughout the event. Whether you were trying on a helmet, admiring the weapons and armour, watching the battles, or learning about our crafts, we hope you enjoyed stepping back in time with us.

We’d also like to thank the organisers and everyone who helped make Mackay PopCon another fantastic event. We can’t wait to do it all again next year!

⚔️ What an Amazing Day! ⚔️

A huge thank you to everyone who came along to Mack PopCon yesterday! It was fantastic meeting so many new faces, catching up with familiar ones, and sharing a little piece of medieval history with you all. Our battle displays were a highlight of the day, with plenty of excitement as visitors gathered to watch the action unfold.

From chatting about Viking life to showcasing our weapons, armour, crafts, and village, it was a day full of great conversations, smiles, and unforgettable memories.

⚔️ River of Life Festival – Bluewater Quay ⚔️

What an amazing day at River of Life! The Mercenaries of Western Europe had a fantastic time bringing medieval history to life at Bluewater Quay, with weapons displays, living history, and plenty of conversations with visitors throughout the day.

One of the highlights was our battle reenactment at the Leichhardt Tree, where steel clashed and the crowd gathered to watch the action unfold. It was incredible seeing so many people stopping by to learn more about Viking life, medieval combat, and the history behind what we do.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, asked questions, took photos, and supported us during the event. Your enthusiasm and encouragement always make these events worthwhile.
