As the year comes to a close, we wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a joyful Yule. May your halls be warm, your tables full, and your hearts surrounded by friends, family, and good cheer.

This season is a time to rest, reflect, and celebrate—just as the Vikings once did during Yule, gathering together to share stories, laughter, and feasts by firelight.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us throughout the year. We look forward to what the new year will bring, both on and off the field.

At 11am, take a moment of silence to remember those who gave their lives for our freedom.

At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them.

⚔️ Event Season Wrap-Up ⚔️

What an incredible few months it’s been! From markets to festivals and community events, the Mercenaries of Western Europe have had a fantastic season filled with combat, camaraderie, and countless memorable moments.

Apologies for the lack of posts recently—it’s been a busy stretch behind the scenes, but what a ride it’s been! Thank you to everyone who stopped by, supported us, or joined in the fun along the way. Your enthusiasm keeps us going.

A special thank you from me and all the Mercs—your support, encouragement, and smiles mean the world to us. We couldn’t do it without you, and we’re so grateful to have shared these moments with such an amazing community.

Now that the event season has wrapped up, we’ll be turning our attention back to training days—refining skills, reconnecting, and preparing for what’s to come. In the meantime, I’ll be sharing memories and highlights from this past year as we look forward to the next event season!

The Mercenaries of Western Europe are excited to be part of Global Grooves this year! Join us at Queens Park for an afternoon and evening filled with culture, music, food, and history from around the world.

We’ll be set up with our Viking village, showcasing medieval crafts, weaponry, and displays that bring the past to life. Come chat with our members, learn about Viking culture, and take a photo on our throne or with our shields and swords! ⚔️
