These days I'm having a look at the poems included in my work LOVE is a labyrinth and YOU are my map.
It was an interesting one for me, very intense in many ways.

I call this work "LOVE is a labyrinth and YOU are my map".

It's interesting how our mind can get stuck in a maze of useless or even damaging thoughts, pushing and pulling the fibres of what we feel; forcing a distorted perspective and creating an artificial narrative.

Thoughts and feelings in precarious balance: which has more weight?

The work we put into keeping them from tipping and falling apart shows our ability to grow and defines the person we are and the one we strive to become.

Life with others requires so much understanding, honesty and kindness, towards both them and ourselves.

At times we meet one who can help us in making sense of it: a special person, a friend, a lover...

You reading this could be that special person for someone: if you have been it for me, know that I love you.

Thank YOU for being the map through this beautiful challenging amazing confronting inspirational labyrinth we sometimes call LOVE.

Another week went by and we're getting closer to the Art on Show . Still so much to do and the ideas keep flowing between the lines.
This piece has been a real challenge.
Will be adding some printed and handmade typography soon: such an incredible amount of conflicting words to not explain unclear feelings. How beautiful and confronting the human soul is...

Songs resonate with us in unexpected ways, at unexpected times.

So many voices, so many words.
In my mind.
In my heart.
Around myself, soaking in.

I don't sing love songs, but I draw lines and shapes instead, to try and break the fall.
How much will the landing hurt?

It's hard to protect our heart without seeing something meaningful slipping away.
All these words, all these feelings, all these colours. Distilled.

And sometimes it truly breaks my heart.

In the last year I spent most of my time out of the digital studio, but a project I'm still working on is my "Dream Arcana" tarot series.

Here's the last one I finished: The Hermit.

Will be printed on cotton paper for a limited edition.
