“The quieter you become, the more you are able to hear” Rumi. Couldn’t agree more with these words. This weekend, we took a trip down to the in-laws and stumbled across this gem of a place. It was nice to just sit in silence for a few minutes and find peace.

Some views from Esk yesterday :( Being raised a city girl I’ve never known the true fear of a bushfire threat. Over the past 5 years I’ve come to love this amazingly beautiful place I call home, and to see this horrific monster getting closer to home breaks my heart. My thoughts and prayers are with all the brave men and women out there on the fire ground trying to tame this beast. @ Esk, Queensland
