I was honoured to attend the Ian Harrington Memorial Rising Stars race meet on the weekend. My first visit to the STKC and it trully impressed, what a tough looking track and it provided some wonderful photograhy . . . I hope you all enjoy the pics. I loved seeing the Yamaha racing and I was a little intimidated by the Open Performance 😬, so great to see a huge turnout and I want to repeat those wise words at the end of the race . . . To the families that support our young adults to compete in these events its a big committment and a wonderful opportunity for them thankyou and well done to all the volunteers and the Southern Tasmanian Kart Club. I'll be trackside at the Southern Tasmanian Kart Club this Sunday to catch all the action of round 3 of the State TDR series at the Risings stars Ian Harrington Memorial race. This is my first visit to our southern track and I am looking forward to capturing some new shots! If you looking for some new photos let me know and I will keep an eye out for your kart! Has everybody dried out yet, my wet weathers are still hanging, it was certainly one wild ride . . but it didn't fail to entertain! Theres some crackin shots after lunch with all the water on the track . . . Big shout out to all the crews, those mates, the Mums and Dads and especially the umbrella holders who toiled in the rain to keep the karts running and the racing sharp !

As a proud father and your typical photographer my 3 boys are often the subject of my favourite photos. Alex often helps on shoots and stands in as I set up lighting for models, I'm always so grateful for his help. . . . Mean while he is working hard towards a career in the music industry and on the weekend performed at the George Town youth festival, looking for a local act to play an amazing set hes definitely worth looking up (I am not biased at all)!
