Let’s take a trip down memory lane to where it first began.

It was 2009 — (yup, if your maths is mathing, you’d know I’d only be 12 at the time) I’d always loved taking photos but never had my own camera to shoot with — just a flip phone I kept stealing from my mum, cause I wasn’t able to have my own phone yet.

The first picture I took, was of Lake Colac. In all of its glory, I proudly shot a photo off of a Samsung C5220 that boasted a 1.3 megapixel camera.. incredible, right? At least I thought so! Haha.

Anyway, with a pretty keen interest in it, mum could see that my passion was developing. So she let me borrow the family camera and I was allowed to use it to take photos here and there, on an Olympus point and shoot.. which felt amazing.. until I dropped it — yikes! Sorry mum. 🙈

Fast forward a few years, my passion kept developing, with the supervised eyes of mum in case I dropped her phone.. thankfully I got better at holding phones + devices. When I went to Murtoa HS, they had a class in photography but the day that those classes were on, was usually the day that I’d not been at school due to only going on the agreed upon 3 days a week.

2014 - moved to Singleton, NSW.
Kept the passion alive, traveled, met some incredible friends along the way, thankfully they didn’t think I was a weird girl with a phone taking photos all the time, definitely grateful they would let me just be me and take photos! 🙈 anyway, kept taking photos. Loved every minute of it.

2016 — moved back to Victoria ..
missed all of my friends in NSW. Kept taking photos as it helped me stay sidetracked from missing them. Took photos for the 2016 DMSC school deb. Felt incredible. 💜
…. Had the memorial for my uncle passing away. Stopped taking photos for a while because I was in a rough spot. Stumbled across the incredible Jumpin Jac Flash; and became inspired again, so I kept going with photography.

Late 2016 (I think) .. did a small photography course with an expo at the end with Thea Jane Photography. Loved every second of it! Got a Canon SX420 Zoom for Christmas the following year.

2018 — kept shooting and did a few freelance jobs here and there. Enrolled into diploma of graphic design, got my first DSLR, due to.. yeah, you guessed it .. dropping a camera. AGAIN! It was a Nikon B500. In my favourite colour, red. 🙈 ended up buying a Canon EOS 3000D. Was pretty stoked.

2021 to now. 💜
Upgraded my camera, started doing cake smashes, mini sessions, promotional shoots, weddings + events, newborn, engagements, maternity + more… my oh my am I incredibly thankful for everyone that’s stood by my side as I’ve ventured down such a wonderful path.

I’d also love to thank my beautiful husband for being the muscles when I need him to move stuff + carry stuff; and being the brains when I run out of ideas or need suggestions when it comes to brainstorming future shoots, or just when it comes to admin work.

So here’s to love, the archives, the memories, and whatever else comes next! 🙈💜

Thats why we've decided to offer these sessions, as we never want finances to be the reason why memories go uncaptured. With these sessions, you'll get:.

💙 The ability to work within different budget types.

Sessions begin at $150, with flexible options available, depending on your circumstances — whether its updating family photos, tiny newborn moments, capturing parenthood, couples, or simply capturing a cherishable moment in life — everyone deserves memories they can hang on to.

✨️ SAME — BUT DIFFERENT ✨️

With bubs being earth side, maternity leave is coming to an end at the end of May.
After having a few discussions with friends + family, we've decided to change how we offer our sessions, and will now primarily focus on offering mini sessions instead, rather than full length sessions, juat until bubs gets a little bit older.

While we are shortening the length of the sessions, everything else will remain the same, meaning you'll still receive the same:

✨️ Care
✨️ Creativity
✨️ Overall warm experience.

This change allows sessions to feel more relaxed and peaceful, flexible, and accessible while still being able to deliver heart-warming galleries filled with genuine, beautiful moments and memories.

All galleries will still be carefully edited and approached with the same amount of love, and attention to detail as always. We'd like to thank you for taking the time to support our little dream and we truly cannot wait to capture everyones stories in this new format.

Please also note that if you have a current session booked with us, such as a wedding or event, that this change will not affect that. We can still deliver that service as promised.
