The Australian fur seal (Arctocephalus pusillus doriferus)
Ile des Phoques is an 8ha granite island, on the east coast of Tasmania, south of the Freycinet Peninsula. Home to a colony of Australian Fur Seals. The Australian Fur Seal is the largest fur seal found in Australian waters.

Taronga sea-slug (Aglajidae: Philinopsis taronga)
Tinderbox never fails to impress. Every time I dive there, I find something new and interesting. But you do really need to stop and look closely at all the little things..
I just happened to spot this tiny guy crawling across the sand while taking a close look at a pile of shells.
Philinopsis are not nudibranchs. While they are colorful marine gastropod mollusks commonly referred to as "sea slugs," they belong to a different group known as headshield slugs.

Candelabrum cocksii
A very rare find in the Derwent Estuary. I had never seen one of these before, and it took me some time to ID it.
This one was in about 5m of water at Hinsby beach. I went back a couple of weeks later, but have been unable to find it again.
Candelabrum are colonial hydroids which consist of three unique sections. A cone shaped tentacle-bearing used for feeding, spherical reproductive gonophores, and hydrorhiza for attaching themselves to something.
